After the success of the first three editions (2022–2024), the French Embassy in Romania, in partnership with the Regional Office of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie and Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, is pleased to launch the 4th edition of the Francophone Scientific Research Symposium in Central and Eastern Europe (SRSF-ECO’2025).

This year’s symposium will take place on October 30–31, 2025, hosted by Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, on the occasion of its 165th anniversary.

The event aims to highlight and strengthen Francophone research collaborations across all disciplines, enhancing their visibility in Romania and throughout the region. For this edition, special focus will be placed on European research structuring tools (Horizon Europe programs), with the goal of fostering and supporting new scientific partnerships.

Practical Information

• Accommodation for researchers will be provided in a university residence.
• Meals during the two days of the symposium will be covered.
• Young researchers are especially encouraged to take part.

Paper Submission

Participants are invited to submit a 4-page scientific contribution (double-column format) showcasing their research results.
