We are pleased to inform you that recruitment for International Staff Week 2025 has now begun!The event, held under the topic “Through Accessibility to Academic Excellence”, will take place from 1–5 December 2025 at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.

The Jagiellonian University Accessibility Centre and the Office of the Rector’s Proxy for Cooperation within Una Europa invite you to join a week full of inspiring meetings, workshops, and discussions that will connect the idea of accessibility with modern technologies and the vision of a university of the future – inclusive, not exclusive. Together, we will explore how artificial intelligence and assistive technologies can help shape a more inclusive academic environment.

The event also includes the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, celebrated on 3 December – a global occasion to highlight accessibility, equality, and the active participation of persons with disabilities in academic and social life.

The meetings will take place in the heart of Kraków – a city known for its history, culture, and unique atmosphere. Participants will also visit the UJ Museum Collegium Maius, located in the oldest university building in Poland, where they will learn about reasonable accommodations for people with specific needs in the historic parts of the university and the city – more details at: https://maius.uj.edu.pl/en_GB 

Travel and accommodation costs are to be covered by the participants.

We invite all adults employed at European higher education institutions in administrative positions or in roles related to broadly understood accessibility to take part.
